Piping Hot Beef Bulgogi Bowl
Ingredients:
Bulgogi ground beef:
1 lb ground beef
Bundle of chopped green onion
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp minced ginger
3 tbsp sake
3 tbsp mirin
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp coconut sugar
Cucumber Salad:
1 Persian cucumber
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
Drizzle in sesame oil
Sprinkle of coconut sugar
Step by step:
Cucumber salad:
Slice cucumber thinly using chop sticks so you don’t cut all the way through to create spirals. It takes some practice. you can also slice thin with mandoline.
Add the sauce mixture and cucumber in a bowl and let it sit while you cook the beef
Bulgogi Beef:
Heat tbsp olive oil over medium low heat
Add ginger, garlic, and white part of green onion, stir until fragrant
Then break up the ground beef
Halfway through add the sauce and let it cook through
Serve over a bowl of rice, sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion to garnish and serve with cucumber salad. Enjoy! 🥒🥩
