Cozy Mille-Feuille Nabe

Ingredients:

Step by step:

  1. Make 5 cups of dashi stock by boiling water with kombu and adding bonito flakes to steep 

  2. Slice Napa cabbage long ways into 4 pieces

  3. Add in sliced pork belly between each napa leaf layer

  4. Cut the bottom stem and then slice into thirds

  5. Layer it into a big pot and pack it tight

  6. Add soy sauce, sake, ginger, and salt to the dashi stock then pour over the cabbage and pork belly

  7. Bring to a boil and lower to low heat and cook until pork and cabbage is soft (about 8-10 min)

  8. Serve into a bowl and drizzle ponzu sauce and green onion. Enjoy
