Cozy Mille-Feuille Nabe
Ingredients:
1 Napa Cabbage
1 /2 lb sliced pork belly
1 knob ginger
5 cups dashi stock
2 tbsp sake
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 green onion/scallion
Step by step:
Make 5 cups of dashi stock by boiling water with kombu and adding bonito flakes to steep
Slice Napa cabbage long ways into 4 pieces
Add in sliced pork belly between each napa leaf layer
Cut the bottom stem and then slice into thirds
Layer it into a big pot and pack it tight
Add soy sauce, sake, ginger, and salt to the dashi stock then pour over the cabbage and pork belly
Bring to a boil and lower to low heat and cook until pork and cabbage is soft (about 8-10 min)
Serve into a bowl and drizzle ponzu sauce and green onion. Enjoy
