Turkey meatballs with Tzatziki sauce
Ingredients:
Meatballs
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1 zucchini grated, and strained
3 cloves garlic
1/4 bread crumbs
1/4 red onion, grated
2 tbsp mint, chopped
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
pinch of oregano spice
drizzle olive oil, S&P
Tzatziki sauce
2 cups plain Greek yogurt
1 cup english cucumber, deseeded + diced very small
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Step by step:
Mix all meatball ingredients together in a bowl, roll into 2 inch balls and cook over low heat 4 min per side.
While the meatballs are cooking, prepare the sauce. Add all the ingredients into a bowl, mix til well combined
Once meatballs are done, serve and enjoy with a dollop of sauce on top! They are so juicy!
