If there’s one thing I love about vegas it's the energy! As soon as you arrive, you lose a sense of time and everyone around you is just living their best life and having fun!
Back home, Nate and I have our daily routine that we crush together...we wake up at 5 am and sleep by 8pm and hit the ground running- so going to Vegas was an exciting change of pace for us. We both needed it!
We stayed at The beautiful Venetian Resort which was a no brainer to me since I’ve been staying here since I was a teenager with my parents- plus it’s voted “most romantic hotel in Las Vegas” by USA Today! Check out that huge LOVE sign in front of a waterfall : )

The luxury suites are very roooomy with a huge bathroom , plenty of mirrors, a vanity to get ready , a nice bedroom and closet space, leading down to the the living room with nice big windows.
As soon as you walk into the hotel, you’re greeted with gorgeous renaissance paintings on the ceilings, archways, dreamy cobblestone canals , and Venetian architecture - it really makes it feel like you time traveled to Europe!
Our first stop was the Mott 32 party. I wore a red sequin dress with an open back and Nate was looking dapper in his suit. We usually don’t have the opportunity to dress up like this, so it was fun getting ready together. The party was lively! There was dumpling tasting, a calligraphy station and fun video photo booth. Appetizers were being passed around on trays with great music and the delicious cocktails was the icing on the cake.
For dinner we ate at Chica- a Brazilian restaurant inside the Venetian which I highly recommend. The tropical ceviche was one of the best I’ve ever had and so were the plantains and steak!!
The resort has over 40 restaurants inside so we were never short of options to choose from. If you want the whole Venice experience though, I highly recommend walking along the Grand Canal shops where there is live music and a neighborhood pizzeria restaurant called Sixth + Mill to get Italian food. We ordered the special pasta of the day and 2 salads with gelato, of course. So good!
For Saturday brunch we headed to Bouchon and enjoyed escargot (my favorite) , salmon lox and a nice green salad! Bouchon is a Thomas Keller restaurant which is amazing that it was just a short walk away from our suite.
There was never a shortage of healthy items to choose from on all the restaurant menus we ate at! Look at that salmon, yum!
Every morning we started the day with a workout at the hotel gym which was huge with every piece of equipment that my home gym has. Afterwards we did a couples massage Saturday morning at Canyon Ranch Spa- inside the Venetian and took advantage of the steam room, igloo, sauna, meditation wave room and jacuzzi. It was the perfect way to relax.
Highlight of the trip was the gondola ride at sunset. Yes, we were busy taking pictures and what not but the moments we put our cameras and cell phones down and just floated in peace was so romantic and nice! Afterwards we strolled around the hotel together until the sun went down.
I had a lot of fun coordinating and putting together outfits for this trip and since a lot of you were into it too, I made a one stop shop to all my Vegas outfits!
I can’t wait to be back to The Venetian! Hopefully it’s soon!
