Chinese steamed fish
Ingredients:
1 whole Rockfish ( 2lbs)
3 green onion sliced long ways
1 cup cilantro chopped
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sake
1 tbsp black vinegar
3 tbsp avocado oil
Step by step:
Add 2” water to large pot, cover and boil. Once boiling, steam fish and cover for ~15 minutes.
Dependent on size of fish. Our fish was caught live so it didn’t need much… 8 minutes total! If frozen approx. 12-18 minutes needed.
While you wait, add all the ingredients of sauce together in a small bowl (except the oil).
Once fish is done, add fresh green onion and cilantro on top and pour the sauce on top.
Heat 3 tbsp avocado oil until very hot and put it on top! Serve and enjoy!
