Step by step:

  1. In a saucepan, combine sake, mirin, and soy sauce

  2. Add kombu and bonito flakes, slowly bring to a boil

  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, sieve it through fine mesh and enjoy!

Cucumber Salad w/ Umeboshi & Tomato:

  • Cucumber, sliced

  • 1 tomato, quartered

  • Umeboshi

  • Dipping Sauce

Tofu w/ Natto and Egg Yolk

  • Soft tofu (I use House Foods brand)

  • Natto

  • Egg yolk

  • Green onion
