Summer Reflection + 3 Cocktail Recipes
Even though the end of summer is creeping up, I still feel like it hasn’t even started yet (in terms of weather). I’ve been anticipating a heat wave to come but still no sign of it…Most likely jinxing it as I type this. haha! Although my summer partnership with Smirnoff is coming to an end #ad I’m so grateful for all the summer memories that I’ve made!
Anyways I’m taking the time to reflect on all the travel this year and feeling so grateful!’
Morocco to climb the tallest mountain
Costa Rica for a fitness filled week and sun
Illinois to visit Nate's hometown
Hawaii with my mom for Mother’s Day
I’ve made so many memories with the people closest to me and that’s what makes me the happiest. And you know what else? Being home with my growing farm family and slowly remodeling and adding personal touches to my house.
As you guys know, I’m a big home body and love having people over. This house gets SOO much foot traffic everyday and I LOVE it. Nothing makes me happier than having company here and being a host. I most likely got that from my mom.
Y’all know about my awesome summer partnership with Smirnoff Seltzer, and because of that, my fridge is constantly stocked with spiked sparkling rosé and I am not mad about that >.<! They are just as good as they sound and even better now that I’ve mastered a few cocktail recipes to make with them
Okay so here’s the scoop. The 3 flavors I LOVE are:
White Peach Rosé
Raspberry Rosé
Strawberry Rosé
and I made cocktails using all 3 flavors and I want to share them with you! The best part is that Smirnoff Seltzers contain ZERO sugar, no artificial sweeteners or preservatives…which is why they taste SO GOOD with REAL FRUIT.
Okay, here they are:
Strawberry Refresher
Crushed Ice
Couple Mint Leaves
Smirnoff Strawberry Rosé Seltzer
Watermelon Juice
Strawberry slices
Fresh strawberry puree w touch of maple syrup
To make the strawberry puree, dice up strawberries into a ceramic cup, add a touch of maple syrup and use the back of a wooden spoon to smash into a puree. Add all ingredients into a wine glass with ice and enjoy!
Raspberry Basil Cooler
1/4 cup raspberries
4 cucumber slices
4 fresh basil leaves
Juice of ½ lime
Crushed ice
Raspberry Rosé Smirnoff Seltzer
Add raspberries to a glass and smash with spoon. Next add in the rest of the ingredients and top with Raspberry Rosé Smirnoff Seltzer for a bubbly cooler!
Peachy Rose
1/2 a yellow peach
1/2 tsp maple syrup
Smirnoff Peach Rosé Seltzer
3 Mint Leaves
1/2 Lemon Juice
Crushed ice
Dice yellow peach and add a touch of maple syrup and mash until you get a puree with a wooden muddler. Add puree, mint, and lemon juice into a class and muddle some more. Next add ice and top with Smirnoff Peach Rosé Seltzer. Enjoy the fresh taste of peaches and have it under the sun!
All of these cocktails are light, refreshing, naturally sweet, and fruity. They are sure to impress your friends and they will def come back for more. Let me know if you try them and have a wonderful Labor Day!!!
