Kimchi egg bowl
Ingredients:
½ lb pork chop or pork belly
½ cup kimchi
Bowl of cooked rice
1 egg, fried
Salt & pepper, to taste
To garnish:
2 sprigs of green onion, chopped
Korean seaweed
Sesame seeds
Step by step:
Dice the pork into bite size cubes, season with salt and pepper.
In a pan, over medium heat, add oil & cook pork until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
Stir fry the kimchi over medium low. Once wilted add the pork back into the pan to combine. Season with salt and pepper
In a separate pan, fry an egg.
Assemble the bowl with fresh white rice, Korean seaweed, kimchi pork belly stir fry, and the egg.
Top with sesame seeds and green onion to garnish and enjoy!
