FRIED BANANAS W WALNUTS AND MAPLE SYRUP
Mornings are getting a lot colder in LA, so I've been reaching towards my Fall inspired recipes like this warm caramelized banana breakfast served with candied pecans, maple syrup and tart greek yogurt.
INGREDIENTS:
Candied Walnuts, maple syrup, 1/2 lemon, 2 banana, 1/2 cup greek yogurt
Halve the bananas horizontally and drizzle with lemon
Cook the banana with a little bit of coconut oil over medium low heat , you can sprinkle some coconut sugar if you wish, and flip until it reaches a caramel color.
Next heat the candied walnuts on the same pan until golden brown. If you use regular walnuts just add in a tbsp of maple syrup and toss.
Serve the banana over greek yogurt, top with walnuts and drizzle a bit of maple syrup and enjoy!
