Bite Size Frozen Yogurt Pies Mmm
Hi!
If you're looking for a yummy dessert, snack, pretty holiday dessert platter recipe, this is for you!
These bite size yogurt pies taste like cheesecake and have a decadent crust naturally sweetened with dates. They are so pretty and loaded with protein too.
Not to mention, once you make the easy pie crust you can fill them with any flavored yogurt you want!
I made 3 different delicious flavors using Chobani Flips:
Nutty For Nana
Banana Low-Fat Greek Yogurt with Honey Roasted Salted Almonds & Dark Chocolate
Apple Crisp Twist
Apple Cinnamon Low Fat Greek Yogurt with Spiced Walnuts, Cinnamon Crunch & Pie Crust Pieces
Cinnamon Bun Fun
Cinnamon Low-Fat GreekYogurt with Pastry Crumble, Caramels & Cinnamon Roasted Pecans
If you didn't notice ; ) Chobani got a packaging and branding makeover! Isn't it super cute?! I'm a huge sucker for packaging and I think they did a great job! I love how minimal it is with pops of bright color. It totally stood out to me when I was strolling the dairy aisle the other day!
Back to these delicious bite size pies ; P
They need to freeze for 2 hours so keep that in mind. I made mine at night and it took about 15 minutes total and they were ready in the morning. Here's what I did:
INGREDIENTS FOR THE CRUST:
(serving size 10 pies)
1 cup unsalted raw almonds
15 dates unpitted
1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tbsp almond butter
METHOD:
Place all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender and chop until it's well combined
Next, spray coconut oil into the muffin tins and fill them with the crust mixture pressing down the center to create a well for the yogurt.
Next spoon in the greek yogurt into the cups!
Finally, dress them how you'd like! I used apple slices, Chobani Flip yogurt toppings and halved raspberries. Place in freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight!
TA-DA!! look how beautiful these babies look. I personally like them frozen so I enjoyed them straight away :)
Let me know if you guys try these bites! They are the best <333
